Hello – Thank you for your patience and understanding as we pivoted daily last week to determine whether it was safe to run our residential routes. There are so many factors that come into play in our decision making, other than just road conditions, although that is primary. Disposal sites such as transfer stations and landfills must be open, too, and drivers must be able to leave their own home safely to drive to work. So while we understand your municipality may have been “fine” with snow clearance on roads, unfortunately it wasn’t the case for the majority of areas we service. I hope you understand the bigger picture we have to take into account in making a decision to not provide service. If you have any specific questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to ask me.
For your residents: We will be collecting on normal route day schedule this week, and collecting overage this week for our Wednesday, Thursday and Friday routes since they did not receive service last week.
